Loudoun County
Loudoun County is part of the greater Washington D.C. area. The County is home to portions of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Many colleges and universities reside in the County including a branch of Northern Virginia Community College and satellite campuses for George Washington University, George Mason University, Marymount and ODU. The Janeila Farm Research Campus of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute is also located here.
Leesburg
This historic town lies near the Potomac River and the base of Catoctin Mountain.

Events and Festivals
The city hosts many events and festivals including the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival, a Fourth of July parade, festival and fireworks at Ida Lee Park, Court and Market Days honoring the city's heritage and the Halloween Parade, the longest-running one of its kind east of the Mississippi.
